Updated Guidance On Realistic Products For Bmw

However, a recent report finds the Munich-based company is preparing to take on the Mercedes-Benz CLA at home and on our shores with a second compact sedan based either on the sporty 2 Series (pictured) or on a new modular platform. Tentatively called 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMWs upcoming sedan will essentially be a more spacious version of the aforementioned 2 Series fitted with four doors. It is expected tostretch much longer than its two-door counterpartin order to offer a more spacious interior with an acceptable amount of head room for the passengers riding in the back. The Gran Coupe moniker

Main Project

My first priority is to try to get the engine running. This may prove to be difficult. Although the truck looks to be low mileage from the original tires, springs and hoses, it looks to have been sitting for some time. I had difficulty identifying the carburator, which turned out to be an old Ford Mo. Co. truck carb. This was removed and a Weber 34 ICH has been ordered. The inside of the distributor looks to be unsalvageable. Even though the points and condensor could be replaced, the inner workings were quite corroded and the vacuum advance looked rough.

Frank Motely

Frank began his passion for Land Rovers and off-road driving in 1978 at the age of 14 when his father, trying to be frugal, decided that a good “1st vehicle” for his son would be the old ’67 Series II Land Rover that had been collecting dust in the barn.   Frank has been driving various types of Land Rovers since. As a tactical transportation officer in the US Marine Corps, Frank turned his passion for offroading into a career. He has had the opportunity to lead off-road convoys all over the world. He has significant driving experience in desert, mountain and jungle conditions. He worked for 3 years...

Dan's interest in Land Rovers started in August of 2001 when he purchased a new Disco II SE7. It wasn't long before the "upgrades" started and now Dan spends as much time as possible on the trails. In its first year, Dan managed to put over 30k on his new truck.   An avid outdoorsman, Dan spends much of the year travelling, camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing and just about every other outdoor activity. His favourite place to camp is at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Dan will be easy to spot on the trips as he will always have at least one camera in hand...even when he's driving.   ...

Peaks and Valleys

This years trek took place in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. This was the first ROXS expedition to take place entirely in Canada.
The trip started in Calgary Alberta with the legendary 'festivities' and pre trip preparations and then proceeded west into the mountains. We had set a few goals for this years trip, the first one was to drive off road through the Rocky/Bugaboos/Monashee/Selkirk and Cascade mountains. Secondly, we wanted to drive the legendary Whipsaw Trail (named in BF Goodrich's Top Trails List). Last, not to be eaten by Grizzly Bears or Mountain Lions in the process!. ...

Ron Sosnowski

Ron's passion for motorized outdoor adventures began at age 12 behind the wheel of an aging 1947 CJ. By 14 he had developed a fondness short of addiction for 4-wheel drifts on loose terrain. Wanderlust and fear of civilized behavior stoked an additional interest in expeditionary adventures including: point-to-point yacht racing from California to Mexico and Hawaii, kayaking in the Northwest Territories and Alaska, winter camping in the Sierra-Nevadas and pub-crawling in Washington, DC. ROXS provides an opportunity for a confluence of these avocations, in a community of kindred spirits.
